The membership of the Libertarian Futurist Society has voted to change the nominations procedure for the Prometheus Award.
In order to eliminate Marginal nominations, LFS members overwhelmingly decided to require at least two votes for a novel before it can be an "official" поміпее. It 15 hoped this rule change will not only give Advisory Members a more manageable list of novels to read, but that more publishers will respond to our request for review copies because their novel has a greater chance of winning the Prometheus Award. (A letter explaining the rule change will be going out to publishers of nominated books.)
Many members requested that all novels voted for by any member be listed in Prometheus, to guide Members in their pre-nomination reading. The editor of this newsletter agreed to this request. (See page three for a list of novels that have been given preliminary nomination votes at this time.)
