Libertarian Futurist Society Elects Officers and Board Members

The Libertarian Futurist Society's board of directors chose new officers and board members in September 2002, in the first election held under the society's new by-laws.

Michael Grossberg chose to step down as President. Chris Hibbert, previous Vice President, was chosen to replace him. Fred Moulton was chosen to fill Hibbert's position as Vice President. Victoria Varga was chosen to serve as Treasurer and Bruce Sommer as Secretary.

In addition, Varga was continued as Director of the Libertarian Futurist Society, and Fran Van Cleave was chosen to serve as Assistant Director, taking the place of outgoing Assistant Director Amy Rule. Amy Rule stepped down from the board, and Joseph Marino was chosen as a new member for the final year of her term. The Board of Directors voted to thank Amy Rule for her services as a member of the board and as chair of the Membership Committee.
